If we don’t have customers, we don’t have a business.
I know that seems really obvious but think about this – do you treat your customers as if they were the most important thing in your business, or do you sometimes treat them as in interruption, an annoyance? Go on be honest – sometimes you may be too busy to give your customers the love and attention they deserve.
Consider how you would like to be treated if you were one of your customers? How would you like to be communicated to, how quickly would you like your emails answered, a phone call returned, or a package delivered. Really think about this from your customer’s perspective, and then write it down – create a ‘how I can delight my customers’ guidelines.
